My friend Paul dispensed a little piece of wisdom from his six year old son, Kai: Make sure you make an impression on others.
On his first day of school, Kai wore one red shoe and one black shoe (school colors.) His teacher made a big deal about it and even pointed it out to the whole class.
That was the first day of school and the kids didn't know one another yet, but the other kindergarteners knew Kai after that.
Kai woke up the next morning and said "I want to wear a tie to school." Paul said sure.
By the way, Kai also wanted Paul to gel his hair. Afterwards, as he looked in the mirror with a smile he said, "Oh man, is my teacher going to say something about this!"
For those of you who know Paul Drewes, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
Hope the things you do today get you noticed!
